Athletes' Media Success at Civil Service Live

15 Dec 2009 12:00
Athletes' Media Success at Civil Service Live On the 7th December, four athletes appeared on behalf of Team 2012 at the Civil Service Live Manchester hosted by Sir Gus O’Donnell, Cabinet Secretary. Ed Clancy (Cycling Gold Medallist), Anna Blythe (Cycling Olympic Hopeful), Philip Roberts (Wrestling Olympic Hopeful) and Scott Robertson (Table Tennis Paralympian) fitted brilliantly into the theme ‘Innovation in Action’ with their passion, pride, professionalism and certainly pace.

The day included inspirational speakers, innovative learning and development sessions and network opportunities. The main role of the athletes was to take part in a Q&A session in front of 200 people, hosted by Sky Sports presenter Peter Stevenson. This was a huge success and the hosts were very impressed with the professionalism shown by all the athletes.
