What is your sporting ambition?
To perform at the highest level at the London 2012 Olympics and content for a medal. What was your inspiration to take up your sport?
In 1992 I missed out on the Summer Olympics as a swimmer so I always felt like I had unfinished business. In 2006 I then took up Sitting Volleyball and really enjoy the fast and aggressive nature of this sport but more than anything it’s the team sport and camaraderie drew me to it. I was then introduced to my club and national team and haven’t looked back since. What are your interests outside of sport?
This is tricky because most of my life revolves around sport. I run a swim school, teaching 3 to 14 year olds fundamentals and key swimming skills. I’m also a Spurs supporter and do love music. In your mind, what's the most memorable moment of past Olympics/Paralympics?
Sir Steve Redgrave winning his 5th consecutive Gold at the Olympics in Sydney – incredibly impressive! What three words best describe you?
Focused, Determined, Team playerWho should light the flame for London 2012?
Michael Johnson and Carl Lewis are exceptional athletes who have shown their athletic superiority over and over again, winning not just one but two or three medals across several events. It’s inspiring to watch lead athletes such as these two perform at the highest level and to me they are a true representation of the whole ethos of the Olympic Games. If you were a character from a film, who would you be and why?
Dirty Harry, the character played by Clint Eastwood – he is a nutter but still a cool guy!
