What is your sporting ambition?
Winning a gold medal London 2012 Paralympics
What was your inspiration to take up your sport?
Goalball has been a part of my life for the past seven years. I first became hooked at a ‘have-a-go’ day, where I discovered I could play this team sport on a level playing field with other young talented athletes, without being disadvantaged by my visual impairment.
What are your interests outside of sport?
I am currently finishing my degree in physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham with the hope of working in the field of musculoskeletal out-patients. I enjoy an active and lively church life, with good friends, good company and good food.
In your mind, what's the most memorable moment of past Olympics/Paralympics?
As a fellow diabetic, I find Steve Redgrave's fifth Olympic gold medal hugely inspiring.
What three words best describe you?
Disciplined, passionate, caring
Who should light the flame for London 2012?
The person holding the match...
If you were a character from a film, who would you be and why?
Dori from 'Finding Nemo' - I have my blonde moments, but I can always pull it together when it really counts!
